JoJo's Bizarre OC Tournament #5 - Round 2 Match 14 - Aaron Kirk and Perseus Drakos vs Prince Cosmo and Casu Marzu

The results are in for Match 12.
Rudolf’s simple, passionate spirit had managed an alarming degree of control over the arena, literally tearing through all the ways Lemon Demon had been feeling atypically cautious, insecure, unsure of the direction to take his future.
He stood close to the grounded, stunned Lemon Demon, himself hurt through what guerrilla tactics could make it through, yet standing before his opponent who struggled on his knees. His opponent, so youthful, so confident.
“The sooner we end this dance, the sooner we can talk business.” In a quiet spell of combat Rudolf slow danced into view, wary, but not readying an attack, schmooving his way to Lemon. “I know you aren’t a wasteful person, you can see the ⌈opportunity⌋ here, to help others, to help ourselves~!” With a great big pelvic thrust he launched himself closer to his enemy… no, his ally to be, in his eyes.
”To give ourselves something to fight for! To live for!” Caught in the moment, he slammed out an acoustic riff which reverbs off the walls, quivering echoes of electric discharge enhancing the sound. “And when it’s all said and done, we’ll level this place to the ground! Together! BOOYEAH~!” After a risque dance move, Rudolf slid over, then, closing the last big gap between them. “So what’ll be man? Let's leave this all behind us.”
Lemon, worn, made to listen to a speech which had been much longer than that, like a proper prog rock solo, felt his muscles able to move again, recovering while down.
This young man… Rudolf… He’d wanted to defy fate, huh? To make good on what his opponent had set out to, even as he lay defeated before him?
"I shall give you the privilege of witnessing my ascension!"
The haunting words of his alleged ally rang through Lemon’s ears.
And then, as Rudolf seemed to grin at the way the old man relaxed a moment, his face turned into a shocked one as he realized his intentions. He’d noticed a moment too late, put his guard back up not at all in time for lengths of wire, screw spears, to pierce him and turn back into their electrified true forms. In that moment, Lemon seized his opportunity, finding himself overtop him, striking him with phone blast after phone blast, shock after shock, grabbing him and beginning to spin him around.
“Sorry, kiddo. But you know what they say. The chicken don’t know it’s cooked till it’s in the oven!”
TTT tossed Rudolf into the air, then kicked him aside, forming electrical knuckle dusters and moving in for one final move.
And yet, when he shouldn’t have been able to move an inch, Rudolf produced ‘Synthesizer,’ making a few final moves which gave Lemon pause. Looking around, his eyes went wide, as he came to understand the storm around him. Was he..?
“Twenty-seven club ain’t a real thing anyway…” The bleeding Rudolf grinned, then. “You coulda been a real Master too, y’know… But hey. I got another great show. We coulda been takin’ this bow together… But I’m gonna have to down you with a real showstopper.”
“Wh-what the heck’re ya doing?!” Lemon declared, recoiling away. “C-c’mon, it was a little joke, let’s-”
Metal frags scattered everywhere began to spark, and the dusty, abandoned factory went up and out with a bang.
Only one of the men inside would ever set foot out of it again.
The winner is Lemon Demon, with a score of 75 to Nureyev’s 68!

Standing up, Lemon Demon gasped for air, feeling around and pulling himself out of layers upon layers of transmogrified rubble, and even then needing to fan away so much dust.
The place had been leveled by Rudolf… He had that much control over the arena, surely could have made something smaller that would have stopped him for sure, yet still, in the end, rather than taking his victory, had tried to be friendly, extended an arm… Damned kids, playing with fire like that. Maybe that was the source of the old adage, one Lemon had lost his fondness for, good luck getting into heaven if you live past twenty-seven.
As he stood, however, surrounding himself, Lemon Demon heard music, synthetic, lively, yet faint, and for several moments, he was hopeful, running towards where Rudolf had been and trying to pull him free.
As he approached, however, the music continued, and a golden apparition appeared from the wreckage, taking the form of an improperly-dressed man, giving Lemon Demon a look. A smile, despite it all.
As long as the city stood, this patch of Los Fortuna’s industrial district would forever be graced by the sounds of a soothing synthesizer, which seemed to grow louder to attempt to drown out any conflict which seemed it would lead to violence.
Play a solemn synthetic solo for Rudolf Pavlova, and if you’re thinking forward, note that you still have a day yet to vote in a jaguar and a reforming gang leader’s bout against two dudes stuck with what was supposed to be a very boring job on a remote island.
The site of M12, a couple days later…
Aaron Kirk stood before the wreckage, clenching his fists hard enough that his nails drew blood from his palm.
He had been chiding a student of his at Midnight Sun during a morning class he absolutely shouldn’t have agreed to teach, telling her how she needed to stop running out to Capital Island and focus on herself and her classes again, when Violet Lange rushed into the room, breathless, to show her a ‘Your Reality’ clip online… hell of a way for Aaron himself to find out.
“That’s right, for the second time this year, a beloved artist has been claimed by the OSHA nightmare that is Los Fortuna’s Industrial District,” Jillian Heart started, heavy-of-heart sounding, then continued, “Rudolf ‘Nureyev’ Pavlova, who you may remember either as a memorable busker around the college town, downtown, and waterfront, or from the music he provided opening for TD/MD at the Alexander Dickinson, has died in the collapse of an abandoned factory, where it is believed he had been searching out unique venues for future performances. He was twenty-five.”
Even after meeting with the Gambler herself, at that hellhole prison in the district where they sent Stand Users to rot, he had still been trying to make sense of the first death to come here, and now, today, he found himself at the sight of the death of one of his own allies… One of his students.
A comforting hand came to his shoulder, and the voice of a companion of his came through, itself sounding troubled, yet maternal. “Don’t beat yourself up over this… You can hear the music too, right? I think Rudolf wouldn’t want people mourning for him, from how I remember him… I think he would want people to celebrate their lives, set themselves free every day for him.”
He hadn’t come here just to mourn, no… There was something important he’d apparently needed to help track down a bunch of, some… machines, or something. Made by that “Nova Nascens” who he’d heard had caused a stir in the business district a while back, which led to a bounty being put on her head and to her getting fired from ODIN. There was supposed to be one of them here, and he was supposed to be helping find them before they could be used to harm the union trying to fight to help this neck of the city out of its poverty.
Professor Venus York’s words were comforting, then, and she added, with a sad, low voice, “that’s… What I would want whenever I’m gone, too, so maybe that’s just that talking.”
“Pointless, all of this… He fought against the clutches of fate, and it squeezed down and crushed him to a pulp.”
Another old, tired-sounding voice, this one much more callous, intercut, and both adults looked to its source: Memory Management, the oldest person in the city by several hundred years, a historian and living history herself.
“This place… Byron and I knew the Stand User whose spirit lingered there before, shocking passerby. He’s been long killed by someone who was long killed by someone who you killed a long time ago, Venus.” Her voice was sharp, there, totally balking at the sentimentality. “This sound, Rudolf’s ghostly playing, is him being trapped in here forever, and his body isn’t smiling, laughing, living… It’s a mangled mess in a body bag, being prepared for a closed-casket funeral. Just like Andrew Tiffany, and just like Byron is going to be if we don’t hurry and get these damned trackers.”
Memory lifted up some mangled piece of machinery, then. “Found the one that was here, by the way… Seems it was destroyed in the collapse. Useless to us now… We won’t even be able to find out who was fighting here, if that’s what caused this.” “…you!” Aaron raised his voice, and as he stepped closer to Memory, the music grew louder, and he stopped in place, shaking his head. “I need a moment. Allow me that. I know where all the things are… If we split up, we can find them all faster.”
“I understand,” Venus said, stepping away, then. “Be careful… Just because Ugo’s using sick days for something other than harassing Ernie for the first time in his career doesn’t mean VALKYRIE is any less dangerous to us.”
She led Memory away, then, whispering in clear frustration back and forth with her, as the pair boarded Venus’ motorcycle, a sidecar having been attached for the precise purpose of Memory’s tactile comfort. The pair rode off, leaving Aaron to grieve.
“Tens of thousands of people,” he muttered to himself, “and one of my first thoughts, off the top of my head, was ‘thank god none of my students were killed.’ So self-centered…” He put his face in his hands.
“It’s not self-centered at all to care about your friends!”
Aaron’s sad ruminating, it seemed, had been interrupted, by a much more youthful voice, the music flaring up around them dramatically as he turned to face the newcomer.
“Perseus..?” He blinked, rubbing his eyes.
“That’s right!” Perseus Drakos answered, posing with all the heroism he could muster, standing atop a structure made of glass. “I’m here to back you up out here! You wouldn’t believe how hard it was for ‘The Stranger’ and I to track you without a vehicle… Lucky for you, though, I’m a textbook persistence hunter, like the cavemen of old!”
Unlike what Perseus may have expected, however, this set Aaron’s temper off, and he stormed towards him now. “What were you thinking?! Perseus, this place is a polluted warzone. Professor York and I, we’ve been trying to keep this low-key, because we don’t want people getting hurt! VALKYRIE is back in the area, now, and-”
“And what makes it okay if you get hurt and I don’t?” Perseus chided back, defiant, and the music seemed to be on his side there, flaring again as he spoke, yet not drowning him out. “I… I’ve been out here before, you know. I’ve fought and won fights out here. I’ve seen what goes on out here plenty! I can guide you, back you up… You shouldn’t be here alone when you’re unfamiliar with the area!”
Aaron heard his pupil out, then, folding his arms. “I mean… Look, Perseus. Rudolf is dead. Died a few meters from where you’re standing. André was killed out here too. I just… If that happened to anyone else who relied on me, I-”
“So I’m not dependent on you then!” Perseus exclaimed with an all-knowing grin. “The other way around, even… I overheard what you were talking about, those… Nova tracker thingies. And seeing what that old lady was holding… I’ve seen plenty of things exactly like that! You only know general locations, but I can tell you where everything is!”
“You… You can do that?” Aaron blinked. He had realized, now, that Perseus wasn’t going to take no for an answer, that if he knew that much, he was going to run off on his own anyway. He had no choice now, huh? “Just… Don’t get far from me, alright? I’ve seen what you and your Stand can do… We’ll have each other’s backs.”
Perseus smiled, satisfied with this, happy to be entrusted like so. “Alright! I’ll show you right to the next one!”
Elsewhere in the district…
Prince Cosmo thought he could smoke up a storm, but a few short hours in the Industrial District, for not the first time but hopefully the last, reminded him of how much worse it could be.
Slowly, he trotted along, reluctant to show much enthusiasm for the task at hand as he sniffed about, looking for any evidence of what could come. Of course, he was hardly a bloodhound, so ultimately, it just made him feel silly, wretching at the scent of smog and industrial waste and nearly losing his lunch.
Why was he even here?
“C’mon, Cosmo! We’re getting closer and closer to our goal, I can just feel it in the air around us! Don’t lose pace now, alright?”
Right… Somebody had to accompany that overenthused shell of a human being which called itself a magical girl.
Casu Marzu, as Cosmo had known him, hadn’t ever quite been enthusiastic about his inherited role as a Stand-using Magical Girl, but one day, after a near-death experience orchestrated by the bastard who’d sent the pair out here, it was… Pretty much all that he was.
He’d missed group meeting after group meeting, all out fighting crime and aiding others who attempted to, all with a smile on his face and a satchel of slogans, and it was all wrong. He’d been so distant from everybody else, so simplistically driven, so devoid of the doubts and fears which bubbled underneath, that Cosmo knew that even if Casu was stronger as a Stand User now, he was far enough gone in some way that his actions weren’t even a cry for help.
“If we run into trouble,” Cosmo answered, “and trouble often comes in this neck of the city… We’ll want to keep a slower pace, so we’re not exhausted by the time it comes for us.”
“I suppose that’s a way to look at it…” Casu stroked his chin, making sounds which Cosmo read as a musing hum, but who knows. They could have been for theatrics. He snapped his fingers, then, grinning. “Yes! Plus, then, we’ll be better off at finding this tracker thingy for Ugo! Representing the SKADE talent agency, we’re going to punish evildoers with the information within there!”
A few days earlier, in a Downtown hospital…
Ugo McBasie sat on a bed, looking out a window and thinking to himself… About what, who knew, but knowing him, Cosmo doubted it could be anything good.
Casu, meanwhile, came in with a roll and a colorful flourish, decked out fully in ‘Bite Me’ gear, doing an over-the-top flip and standing at the PMC’s bedside, hands on his hips. “We came as soon as we were called, Ugo! If it’s urgent enough that you need ask us, of course we’ll be of assistance!”
“I appreciate that…” Ugo remarked, then, looking slightly incredulous at that, yet sitting upright. Cosmo thought of how, in spite of a building falling on him in the disaster, he seemed almost well enough he should already be checked out, but simply kept listening. “I’m a bit laid up, as you can tell… Nothing I won’t walk off in the end, but we’re supposed to be pulling back into the Industrial District soon, and that damned Byron Oxbow is planning some shit. There’s work out there that needs doing, and info I think is critical about to be… compromised.”
“A data breach?!” Casu jumped back in theatrical shock, hands moved to his lips in alarm. “That’s terrible… We’ll do everything we can to stop it! Just say the word, and SKADE is on it!”
“Heh… Figured you’d say that. You’re better than me, which means you don’t hold a grudge, or any hard feelings.” Ugo nodded, then, even patting Casu’s shoulder (did he slip something into his clothes there..? No, Cosmo must’ve imagined it…), before going on, “see… This old employee of ours, Nova Nascens, she’s left these things that can track Stand activity all over the city… They work great, bit fragile, but they work almost as good as that Teddy Lloyd Institute Guy’s Stand, and now. Well, you’ve seen her topping ‘most wanted’ lists, least until Bert stepped in. Everything she does is compromised now, and she mighta tipped someone off to where to find it all for some dark end.”
“So, before anyone else can get at these, we need someone else to find them, so VALKYRIE can sell ‘em to the factory heads so they can watch what that damned dangerous ANVIL union is doing. We could maybe even hunt Byron down himself if we get enough in key areas, get rid of him before he can be a thorn in the side of… Expansion negotiations.”
For the sake of good inter-divisionary relations, they were hired muscle for a psychopath who wanted a union busted up so their employers could be bought out. Cosmo wasn’t an idiot, and was sure literally anyone else at SKADE would have realized the same thing, even Elliot.
Yet, if Casu took this at anything other than complete face value at Ugo’s words, he wasn’t giving a single hint of it. Even out of his magical girl gear (to look more low-key, as it were), he still exuded that horrible aura.
Cosmo wished Kisa was here for aid in doing this cleanly, but he was still obsessively researching Midnight Sun’s archives, as if expecting to find something, and of course his partner Masa was right out there with him, trying to help, sure, but also make him not do anything rash.
“Alright, we’re getting pretty close to it now…” Casu said, checking his phone, “just gotta get a biiit closer to-”
“Ah! That’s gunfire!” Casu declared, ‘helpfully,’ to the startled Cosmo as more shots rattled around. “By the sound of it, right in the way of what we’re doing! The gunshots are coming right from where this app says the nearest tracker is!”
“Then it’s probably going to be destroyed…” Cosmo remarked, then, shrinking back from the sounds. “Let’s go someplace else now, alright?”
“Nonsense!” Casu struck a pose. “This makes it the most important tracker of all to get, because we’ll never get another chance to! And besides that, that means our allies might be in trouble! We’ve no time to waste, Cosmo!”
With that, he booked it, and Cosmo, with a sigh, had little choice but to follow until he found him on one such side of a blockade, surrounded by armed gunmen firing at another set of far-off targets.
They were commanded, it seemed, by a short, youthful-looking inhuman figure in goggles, plasticy-looking armor (upon which VALKYRIE’s logo had been taped), and a Roman helmet, all blue and feathery.
“Don’t let up!” He said, pointing forward and then, Cosmo recognized his voice… It was the ‘Blue Kid’ who had always seemed to be doing something tactical or another for ODIN and VALKYRIE. “We need to take their commander, dead or alive!”
“Flying Man Blue!” Casu greeted him like an old friend, even though they’d barely spoken before that Cosmo knew of. “What’s going on here? We’re on company business too!”
“You are, huh? Well, good to see you two again!” He recoiled from the sound of some fire himself - clearly not a direct battlefield commander type like Ugo - and then said, “I’m picking up the slack around here, but let’s try not to get in each other’s ways, okay? This is a fight we can actually stand a chance at winning!”
Before anyone could say something else, a gunman trained on the opposite end, fighting ANVIL goons himself, called out, “s-sir, we need to hold our fire!”
“What?” Blue asked. “Why?”
“There’s… There’s a little kid on the other side! I have a baby sister older than him!”
Blue’s eyes sneered, then, before he did a large acrobatic flip to a high-up vantage point.
“He’s a sitting duck up there…” Cosmo remarked.
“No, no!” Casu answered, “he’s basically a living Stand, who has the ability to make himself visible to normal people… So he just turned that off for a perfect vantage point!”
Blue then hopped back down, shaking the objector. “You idiot… Do you not know who that kid is?!”
“What? Uh…”
“That’s Perseus Drakos, one of the most durable people in Los Fortuna, and he’s no friend of our company’s! He’s, like, invincible and a half! It’s literally the only way he’s managed to beat guys like us!”
“S-sir, even if he’s a Stand User, even a resilient one, isn’t that a little-”
He pointed, aggressively, then, before ordering, “so shoot him even harder!”
A few minutes earlier…
“Wait, so the CEO gave you this location list herself?” Perseus had been talking things out with Aaron as they walked, and his head was aching a bit with explanations of what had been done here. “Why would she do that… I mean, aren’t we trying to stop ODIN here?”
Aaron took a moment to think, then, parsing his words, before saying, “we’re trying to beat VALKYRIE here… Their security forces that keep causing trouble for everyone, everywhere. And Arazu Allday doesn’t know that York and I are using this info like this, technically… They’re collaborating together to hunt down the lady that made them, since she and [REDACTED], they’re bad news for everyone.”
“So… Is it okay that we’re using this info like this, then? If we’re working together with the boss of this company?”
Aaron shook his head. “York figures, if Allday thinks VALKYRIE is more trouble than they’re worth, she might really cut them away… Insists she’s not a bad person deep down.” He sighed. “I dunno if I see it, but hey, someone doesn’t need to be a good person to be worth working with.”
“I…” Perseus blinked. “I think that makes sense?” He rubbed his head, aching trying to keep these growing webs of intrigue straight. “All these names, though, jeez… Wish I had a cheat sheet or something.”
“Shit..!” Aaron cursed under his breath, covering his ears. “Shots fired… Be careful. Probably another firefight, what with where we are…”
“But…” Perseus bristled. “The way that was pointed, that’s right where I was leading you! People might be fighting over it… And you said these things are fragile, right?”
Aaron’s face faulted. “You’re - Perseus, you’re not going to say we should run right into the warzone for this thing, right?”
“You hit it right on the head! Besides, maybe we’ll be able to help out, make sure ANVIL doesn’t get too messed up by those ODIN guys!”
Aaron knew he wasn’t going to be able to refuse, and Perseus went and phrased it in a way that hit him different anyway. People could… Be hurt here. And he could protect them, save them, maybe even. Bring the stupid strife in this place one moment closer to a happy ending, both on the greater scale and the right now.
Before he knew it, the two of them were running towards the volley of blasts, coming in just in time to be behind the lines of a group of gunners dressed in the uniform of ANVIL’s standing militia, positioned all throughout.
They seemed to be commanded, in turn, by a tall, strong-looking older woman with scars running along what of her helmeted face could be seen at a glance.
“What the-” She blinked, turning to Aaron and Perseus. “Civilians? You’ve picked a bad place to wander into… Look, run away, and if those bastards take aim at you, we’ll cover you, yeah?”
“That… Won’t be necessary,” Aaron answered, showing his school ID, “here on, uh… University Business. I’m a friend of Professor York, basically… The kid tagged along, and at this point, it’d be worse to send him off alone, you know?”
“I’ve been helping find these things!” Perseus answered, proudly.
“Oh!” She tilted her head, “so you’re looking for one of those… tracker things, huh? Think I saw something like that on one of those towers in the no-man’s-land… I’m D’arcy Taymor, by the way. Muscle for ANVIL here… Uh, if you do try and get it, we’ll help cut you a path, yeah? Just, don’t underestimate these guys! Like, my Stand, ‘Bullet with Butterfly Wings,’ all it does is turn pieces of any particulate into perfectly functional bullets, doesn’t even have a body, and these guys have the kind of money poured into them where they can keep up with virtually infinite bullets.”
“Jeez…” Aaron remarked. “Well, then, I guess we need to be careful, hit a lull in the action to-”
“So shoot him even harder!”
Thankfully, all that Blue’s declaration had done was stun the forces on all sides into a sort of alarmed silence when, a moment ago, they were primed for another volley.
He looked around, reading the room, then chuckled, brushing some feathers out of his goggles. “Heh… That got your attention, didn’t it? My bluff bought us even more time to breathe… This is why I’m VALKYRIE’s chief tactician, you know.”
Cosmo had the feeling he was just saving face there, especially with how he followed it up.
“Okay, so maybe don’t target the twelve year-old with extreme prejudice, but don’t treat him any differently than any other combatant, either… If he causes trouble for us, be willing to open fire. You think Ugo would stop attacking someone for something as meaningless as age? You think in a fight, Perseus wouldn’t beat the crap out of you because you aren’t a septuagenarian?”
“Can we just talk to these guys, whoever they are?” Casu asked with more eerie cheerfulness. Blue nodded, holding his hand as though telling them to hold their fire, and across the aisle, D’arcy did the same for her charges.
“Hey! Stand Users out there!” Casu called out, Cosmo close behind him. “Let’s talk this out, alright?!”
Aaron and Perseus looked to one another, suspicious, before each nodded.
The two groups stood there, hands on guns and stands summoned, frozen. Neither wanted to be the one to fire the next volley of shots.
Aaron took a step forward, putting his hand up while keeping [Mice on Venus] close behind him, “I’m with you… Casu, right? I’ve heard of you! You’re right… we can talk this out. No one needs to get shot today!”
Prince Cosmo, from the other side of the lot, spat out his finished cigarette and waited patiently to speak until a freshly lit one had been placed in his bejowled mouth. “That's fine then. Assuming that we are here for the same thing, walk away and let us take it.”
He added, then, after a pause. “If there are two of Nova’s sensors, feel free to take one. However if the boss’s info is good, which it always is - your comrade crushed our coworker’s hands. Keeping that in mind, if there is only one sensor to be had, we will not be letting you take it.”
With that last sentence Cosmo’s lips curled slightly and a low, slow rumbling growl emanating from him. As his grows drifted over the otherwise silent field, Perseus took a step forward. “I’ve seen it myself… There’s only one out there, and we need it! Turn away, or face certain failure at the hands of The Glass Dragon!”
Both sides bristled, knowing there was truth to Perseus’ statement. Some kind of conflict… Was it truly inevitable?
Casu broke the silence after that. "Listen here, yeah! As a magical girl, I too am a warrior of justice… And I’ve heard of your exploits, Glass Dragon! And Aaron Kirk! And my companion here, Prince Cosmo! They’re impressive, really, all of them! So even if you’re working with that dangerous union of yours, that doesn’t mean you’re the bad guys either! So let's just put down the guns and-"
A single gunshot rang out through the air, cutting the magical girl off.
Blue Kid had patted a recruit who had been shaking a lot, not practicing proper trigger discipline, on the back, startling him, having begun to say, “hey don’t be too nervous, or-”
Cosmo could have sworn he saw the ends of lips smirking under that beak of his.
With that itchy trigger pull all hell broke loose. Both sides dove for cover and opened up with all they had. Tension from months of skirmishing erupted into an all out firefight. All four stand users steeled their resolveös as they readied for a battle that had seemed so tantalizingly close to not happening.
A street in the Industrial District in the middle of a firefight. The area is 45 by 54 meters with each tile being 3 by 3 meters. The grey tiles are the road and the yellow tiles are the streets. The players are denoted by their tokens on either side of the map.
The thicker border down the middle of the map is a stone guardrail about a meter and a half tall.
The orange rectangles are cars. The purple rectangles are empty brick buildings with doors denoted by the red shapes.
In the middle of the map are 3 magenta towers, each tower is 15 meters tall and made of metal. They are built similarly to cell phone towers.
In the top of the center tower is a tracker made by Nova tightly duct taped to it. It’s quite fragile, and the size of a small purse.
The blue and grey circles are grunts of VALKYRIE and workers of Anvil respectively. The blue and grey triangles are their field commanders.
Goal: Grab the tracker in the center of the map and escape the map with it! They’re fragile, though, so something callous like trying to knock it loose or just putting it in a rapidly spinning ball of death is likely to get it damaged!
Additional Information:
Casu starts untransformed and with an ‘empty tank,’ so to speak, having expelled his stores finding other trackers before he and Cosmo had reason to expect to walk into a firefight.
The grunts on both sides of the map are flat 3 physicals, 2 Aim and are each armed with a pistol and 30 rounds of ammo each.
The field commanders are flat 4 physicals, 3 Aim, and are armed with two pistols, and can very easily produce more ammunition to fully replenish their comrades if they run out.
Both sides will be firing at each other throughout the match and are mostly focused on taking the other side out. There will be a hail of gunfire basically at all times as they duck behind cover and shoot. While neither side is aiming directly for the players, those on the opposite side of the conflict will still shoot you in the heat of the fight, or start targeting you if you make yourself a threat to them. None of them are likely to follow the players’ orders.
The people will move around as needed, retreating or moving forward if needed according to the situation, but assuming the players don’t interfere the fight will be a bit of a stalemate with neither side getting an edge while the body count slowly rises.
If either field commander, Flying Man Blue or D’arcy Taymor, is sufficiently injured in battle and not killed swiftly afterwards, they will retreat from the battle, and their allies will be left without their support or tactical command, the morale drop from this rout (or their death) likely to lead to more rash decisions on their part, about a 50/50 shot between running away themselves or charging the no-man’s-land.
Team Combatant JoJolity
Masters of Funky Action Aaron “Jang” Kirk and Perseus Drakos "Listen, Gyro... During the sport of tennis, there may be a time when the ball hits the net. Which side of the net will the ball fall on...?" Things are going to hell here, everything’s unpredictable, and you don’t want this fight, but if it’s breaking out, then your side should be the one to come out on top! Over the course of the match, do what you can to support ANVIL’s side of the conflict!
Sharp Lookers Casu Marzu and Prince Cosmo "Which side will it fall on? That decision is within the realm of 'infinity'.” This whole situation is a mess, and you have no idea what’s going to end up happening and what’ll come from it, but at the end of the day, the two of you are still employees of ODIN, and a loss for the company is going to reflect poorly on SKADE as well! Over the course of the match, do what you can to support VALKYRIE’s side of the conflict!
